Admissions
The Montessori School of West Monroe has a non-discriminatory admissions policy for children who are 2.5 - 5 years of age. A class ratio of no more than 10 children to 1 adult is maintained.
The Cottage
New Families — This is our special house for children just beginning in Montessori. Emphasis is placed on the development of concentration, coordination, order, and independence.
The Main House
Montessori Experienced — This house is specially prepared for children in their 2nd and 3rd years of Montessori education. Academic advancement, artistic expression, and the social skills of grace and courtesy are emphasized.
Montessori Mornings
8:30 - 11:30 — 3, 4, or 5 days a week.
Lagniappe Afternoons
11:30 - 2:30 — Extended hours for lunch, rest, and enrichment are offered in conjunction with Montessori Mornings. Offered to provide children with "A little something extra."
early care
7:45 - 8:30 — Care before school is provided for parents in need of this service.
tuition
Full School Year — September through May. To ensure your child's placement, reserve enrollment well in advance of the school year.
Admissions Process
3.Attend your private parent tour and interview.
This will allow us to get acquainted with one another, tell you more about our school, and answer any questions you may have.
4.Receive an admissions notification.
We will reach out to you regarding an Admission decision within 10 days.
